Abstract

The effect of optical isotope shifts on Os and Ti isotopic ratio measurements by resonance ionization mass spectrometry has been investigated. Conditions with regard to laser bandwidth and intensity and the reproducibility of laser wavelength setting have been evaluated wich allowed Os and Ti isotopic ratios to be obtained with an accuracy better than 0.4%.
