Abstract
We wish here to outline an approach to the theory of strong interactions, based on the Mandelstam representation, that treats high- and low-energy phenomena in a unified manner. Our approach, which will be described in detail elsewhere, extends somewhat the original program proposed by Mandelstam.(1)
