Abstract

We discuss the various aspects of specialized instrumentation for solar observation. Telescopes are designed to minimize heating and turbulence. Because two-dimensional images are so important, two-dimensional monochromators are particularly important. Devices for magnetic field measurement and coronal observation are described, and the resolution of the various instruments is discussed.
