The quadruple and hexadecapole moments of 165Ho were derived from the hfs of the 3d muonic states. The resulting values are Q0 = 7.44 +/- 0.07 b and II0 = 0.52 +/- 0.10 b2. The parameters of the nuclear charge distribution were determined. An indication for an angular variation of the skin thickness was found.
