Abstract

By using the method previously applied (1) to other elements we have observed a very penetrating radiation from carbon bombarded with deutons, and have attempted to analyze it. We have made measurements of the absorption of this radiation in lead and in paraffin, with two electroscopes, one lined with lead and the other with paraffin.
