Abstract

Earthquake motions have been recorded within a low-rise shear wall building with construction similarity to nuclear plant structures. The objective of the research described in this paper is to obtain additional data on structure damping and stiffness, and to investigate current seismic analysis criteria and methods used by the nuclear industry, based on these actual recorded motions.
