Abstract
As a professional planetary scientist and loyal longtime Planetary Society member, I have generally supported the positions taken by The Planetary Society on space exploration. I agree with the statement "The Vision Must Be Global," which is the title of a recent article by Louis Friedman, but I don't agree with the "Vision" as enunciated by President Bush and as reflected by the recent reorganization of NASA.
