Abstract
Melt viscoelastic properties of the products of ring-expansion metathesis (REMP) reveal structural changes that relate to the catalyst structure and reaction conditions. Consideration of the rates of monomer addn., intramol. chain transfer, interchain fusion and catalyst release provides insight into variations in the relaxation dynamics of the resulting melts.
