Abstract

Chirped pulse microwave (CP-MW) spectroscopy has become a ubiquitous technique in the high resoln. mol. spectroscopy community. Unfortunately, many components of chirped pulse spectrometers are extremely expensive. Here we report proof-of-principle spectra of THF and methanol collected between 8-16 GHz using an inexpensive microwave circuit. Future applications in the coherent control of large amplitude motions will be presented.
