Supplemental materials to the paper entitled "Ambient Seismic Noise Tomography for Canada and Adjacent Regions: Part I Crustal Structures" by Kao et al. The supplemental materials contain three parts. The first one "Supplement1.txt" is an ASCII file listing the results of our tomography inversion. Each line corresponds to a grid point and the values are longitude (in degrees, E positive), latitude (in degrees, N positive), depth (in km, downward positive), and shear velocity (in km/s). Grid points with resolution length larger than 500 km are discarded. The second one "Supplement2.txt" is an ASCII file listing parameters of the crust-mantle transition. For each grid location, Z1 and Z2 correspond to the depths where the shear velocity increases by 50% (Vs1) and 85% (Vs2) from a typical crustal value to a typical upper mantle value, respectively. The values of dZ and dV correspond to the difference between Z1 and Z2 and Vs1 and Vs2, respectively. The corresponding resolution length (in km) is listed at the end of each line for reference. The third part contains 4 figures (Figures S1–S4) to provide further information in support of our arguments in the main text.
