Abstract
Rare τ decays provide a sensitive probe of charged lepton flavor violating interactions. With the dataset collected by the BABAR experiment at PEP-II (∼ 4.88×10^8 τ¯τ pairs at the Υ(4S) resonance), we have set limits on a large variety of rare charge lepton flavor-violating τ decays.
