Robert Lamb Sproull

Robert Sproull was a graduate student in physics in the postwar years at Cornell. He became Director of DARPA in the early 1960s and provost of Rochester University in 1968. He served as its seventh President from 1970 to 1984 and as chief executive from 1975 to 1984.
