George Whitesides' group in Harvard's Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology works on many topics: Biomimetics, Biosurface Chemistry, Complexity / Emergence, Materials Science, MEMS, Microfluidics, Micro- / Nanofabrication, Photonics, Polyvalency, Self-Assembly, Surface Science, and Tools for Biophysics and Biology. We conducted an interview with Prof. Whitesides and filmed Mila Boncheva as she kindly explained self-assembly to us.
