Abstract

The summary presented here attempts to describe recent studies in our laboratory of the effect of microscopic solvation, controlled in a cluster cage or fluid environment, on the elementary dynamics of reactions. We selected reactions of two atoms (dissociation) and many atoms, proton transfer in acid-base reactions and double-bond twisting in isomerization reactions.
