Abstract
Our lab has an ongoing interest in exploiting organometallic systems to elucidate new reactivity patterns with small mol. substrates, such as nitrogen, cyanide, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide. Some of our most recent strategies and findings in this area, relevant to stoichiometric and catalytic reductive transformations, will be described. The talk will emphasize both reactivity patterns and fundamental mechanistic issues.
