Wagenaar, Zoltan Nadasdy, Steve M. Potter Title: Persistent dynamic attractors in activity patterns of cultured neuronal networks DEPOSIT INFORMATION Description: An example of a superburst in real-time. The top panel shows the activity recorded by all electrodes in an oscilloscope-style display. The layout of the subpanels corresponds to the physical layout of the electrodes in the MEA. Each subpanel shows 200 ms of activity per frame. The bottom panel indicates the time in the progressing superburst, and incorporates a plot of the array-wide firing rate (AFR; measured in spikes per second, sps) as well as a gray-scale spike raster. Each blip in the accompanying sound track corresponds to one spike, with pitch indicating the vertical position of the originating electrode, and stereo position corresponding to the horizontal position of the originating electrode.
