Abstract

There is abundant evidence for the widespread occurrence of live ^(146)Sm(Ƭ = 149 Ma) in the early Solar System as established by correlated Sm/Nd and ^(142)Nd/^(144)Nd in meteorites (Lugmair and Marti, 1977; Lugmair et al., 1983; Jacobsen and Wasserburg, 1984; Prinzhofer et al., 1989, 1992; Lugmair and Galer, 1992; Nyquist et al., 1994; Stewart et al., 1994; Sharma et al., 1995).
