Abstract
When substances are emitted to the atmosphere, they are subjected to the influence of many factors such as light, humidity, and oxygen. Many reactions occur among the pollutants themselves. An example of such a reaction occurred in Midland, Mich., when a lacrimator was formed by the interaction of styrene and halogens released separately from sources located some distance apart.
