Electric Quadrupole Moment of the Deuteron

Abstract

Kellogg, Rabi, Ramsey, and Zacharias [1] have pointed out that their observations on the magnetic moments of H2, D2 and HD molecules can be accounted for if the deuteron is assumed to have an electric quadrupole moment of magnitude
