Editorial for special issue in honor of Professor John Wood

Abstract

It is with great enthusiasm that we publish this special issue of Tetrahedron and Tetrahedron Letters in honor of John L. Wood, the Robert A. Welch Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Baylor University. John served as a long-time Associate Editor for the Americas of Tetrahedron Letters and performed these duties for twenty years from 2001 to 2021 with the highest possible ethical and scientific standards. Wood is among a small group of truly gifted leaders in the field of organic chemistry and one of the most scholarly, selfless, and committed citizens of our community.
