On the scattering of the Th C" γ-rays

The absorption of Th C" γ-rays in matter may be satisfactorily accounted for by the Compton scattering, the photo-effect, and the production of electron positron pairs, for the theoretical formulae (1) for these three effects give an absorption which agrees with experiment within experimental precision and the accuracy of the formulae.
