Observation of D_s^+ → K^0K^+ and D_s^+ → K^(*0)K^+ and an Upper Limit on D_s^+ → K^0π^+
Abstract
We report the first observation of the decay D_s^+ → K^0K^+ and a new measurement of the decay D_s^+→K (892)^0K^+. The data were collected at √s=4.14 GeV with the Mark III detector at the SLAC e^+e^- storage ring at SPEAR. We obtain the relative branching fractions B(D^+_s→K^0K^+/ B(D_s^+→φπ^+)=0.92±0.32±0.20 and B(D_s^+→K^*0K^+)/ B(D_s^+→φπ^+)=0.84±0.30±0.22, using our new determination of σB(D_s^+→φπ^+). A search for the Cabibbo-suppressed decay D^+_s→K^0π^+ yields a limit B(D_s^+→K^0π^+)/B(D_s^+→φπ^+)<0.21 at the 90% confidence level.
