Abstract
We present picosecond time-resolved results on the fluorescence decay of jet-cooled pyrazine-d_4. The decay is pseudo-double exponential and quantum-beat-modulated. The data for pyrazine-d_4, as well as for pyrazine-h_4, are rationalized using radia tionless transition theory. Finally, the connection of the picosecond dynamics to the frequency domain spectrum of pyrazine eigenstates is made.
