Synthetic biology: advancing biological frontiers by building synthetic systems
Abstract
Advances in synthetic biology are contributing to diverse research areas, from basic biology to biomanufacturing and disease therapy. We discuss the theoretical foundation, applications, and potential of this emerging field.
